The Chosen

I have recently viewed a series of videos produced by a man named Dallas Jenkins. The Chosen was the name given this series of videos regarding the life of Jesus (Yeshua) when he was upon the earth and whose mission was to introduce fallen man to "the Kingdom." I was left without strength after viewing these first nine of an eventual sixty-four episodes. I was moved exceedingly over the depiction of events presented in the Scriptures.

Over my lifetime, I have viewed many depictions of the time of Yeshua, and they all failed at presenting the truth in some major way. They made Jesus into a god which they had formed out of their imaginations, something like their mental graven image of their god. In one such depiction I was greatly disappointed that the main actor repented of playing Jesus. He did not want to do a "sensitive" man again. He destroyed much of the good he did by clearly saying that he was only acting and did not really mean it. But as I watched The Chosen I was only uplifted and blessed that they had succeeded in escaping the pitfalls of previous trials. The people making these episodes had a testimony that they had an experience and that was especially true for Dallas Jenkins. He was producing a presentation of Jesus out of his own experience. He had Life and it was put into the production.

But with me, I must always place everything in the timing of prophecy and I could easily do this with The Chosen. When God brought the judgment into the world for their crucifixion of me, He also brought the light. This was in January of 2017, when Donald Trump was anointed to destroy the evil doers and Dallas was anointed to bring the light to the wise at the same time.

And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered (saved), every one that shall be found written in the book.

And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. Daniel 12:1-3.

These events now taking place are evident, and the time of the outpouring when thousands are converted in a day. This event is a little time before the annihilation of our world in the flames as was prophesied by the prophet Daniel and the apostle Peter.

I was "crucified" for seven years in my imprisonment. I was released from prison in 2016. The people were judged over their treatment of one anointed and for the same reasons Jesus was crucified. That is, over his offense and blasphemy, so-called. I "confirmed the covenant with many for one week." And my sacrifice paved the way for The Chosen which is the voice of my own soul. I have seen the travail of my soul and am satisfied.

I recognized this when I saw the message presented. Dallas had a reconversion in 2017 as I did in 2000. The Holy Spirit came down on me with great power and the message was evident. I had to suffer in my efforts to carry out God's instructions to me and I expect the same will be true for the people of The Chosen.

The Chosen contains my message. The first clear gift was that Messiah came as a man. He was born of the Holy Spirit as we are born again with the Holy Spirit. God comes into man and man is the temple and not a building made with human hands over in Jerusalem or somewhere else. In the sequences I viewed, the change was clearly made evident. The people who followed the Savior were born again. This allowed for the miracles as the people yielded to the Spirit of God in Yeshua. The message clearly teaches that we are evil and not better than others, but God comes into us and He is our righteousness. The people of God become "chosen" also. "Christ in you, the hope of glory" was made evident in the presentations I viewed.

The second teaching that was clearly presented and was true for me, was that when the Holy Spirit enters a soul, that soul must often leave his family behind. This was clearly taught in the life of Christian in the story "Pilgrims Progress." In The Chosen it was evident that some could not follow the Voice and others could. All had to separate from their old world. This is still very true today. We have had to leave wives, husbands, jobs, family ties and politics. This occurs in varying degrees with all who are born of the Spirit. This is especially true when hatred is expressed by those old acquaintances. But if our families go with us, then we are still one.

The third teaching was very special. These teachings in the message are not always taught as by a teacher, but by example. The Chosen did a masterful job at presenting the Sabbath of the Lord. What a joy it was to watch, for God commanded me to keep the Sabbath at the time of my conversion in 1967. I was commanded to separate from my Sunday-keeping church where I was a Sunday school teacher. I immediately had to follow the Savior rather than consult with my own old interests. I heard the Voice of God from the beginning and I had to follow it. The Jesus in this presentation lived like that. He followed his Father's instructions. That is what I have done in my relationship with the Spirit of God. When and where the wind blows, I follow it.

The fourth point I would like to make is the point of miracles. I was so blessed that the presentations presented the miracles as natural to the Spirit. No one was yelling and demanding God to heal while shaking their hands as if bringing it about themselves. There were no strange voice effects. No, the healings were like I have found them to be. The miracles were natural miracles without weird behavior bringing them about in great excitement. I was greatly blessed to see how my own miracles came about depicted in this presentation of Jesus. With Jesus, in this presentation, some were healed after a strong desire expressed, and others healed with no request at all. This is the way God works, and I was greatly blessed to see the theatrics missing.

I can see that The Chosen is led by the Spirit of God. And while biblical details are not always followed, the truth is followed. Yes, God does things out of the doctrinal expectations box of man so that man will follow Him instead of their own ideas. The Pharisees in this world hate us, but we know the Voice and we follow it. This is clearly presented in this series of presentations. God does what He wants and His followers follow His instructions.

The people called me a cult leader with this sin or that, but God does not have to answer to them. He sometimes brings about a very "strange act" as the Scriptures stated that He would do in the last days. God's people believe me and those who do not are cast aside, for they listen only to their own ideas of what God would or would not do. "For the Lord shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act." Isa. 28:21.

I saw many other biblical teachings in these presentations that were not outright, but subtle. I feel that I am watching this world's last events and directed by the Lord I have followed, for there is truly a familiar Spirit of the holy kind. I recognize the movements by the testimonies of those who are participating in this venture. Truly, some will rise up from their earthly dust into everlasting life and some will awaken to shame and everlasting contempt. If the people are faithful to the testimony of Jesus to the end, they will do well, for it is written: And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and he went to make war with the remnant of her seed, who keep (follow) the commandments (instructions) of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ (The testimony that Jesus had that he always followed his Father's instructions). Rev. 12:17.

I bless these people who are producing The Chosen and that they might be faithful unto the end. If they are faithful, they will receive the crown of life.
